this is prob gonna sound real stupid but im just wondering if ya need to be signed to a label to play on the new bands stage and if not how do ya go about getting up there????

Coco, I don't think that is a stupid question at all and I would like to know the answer too, I tried to enter last year and all I found out was that MCD picked the artists and that they did not accept applications so, how do you get to play on the new bands stage?... if anyone wants to whisper it to me my e-mail is superkasanova@ymail.com.

my cuz's band were on the newbands stage last year, there called Juliet's Rescue but they were Box Social at the time http://upload.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=6454371539, they got there by winning battle of the bands, hot pres sponsor the newbands stage btw

At the minute, Oxegen isn't looking for bands to play, but you can always:
~Post your demos to Head of OXEGEN Booking, MCD, 7 Park Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin

That's how you get to play as far as I know. Hope I helped (:
